Easter at Niagara Falls

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter Sunday! A big shout out to my Dad, Pete Pino, who celebrated his 73rd birthday on this special day xo

Ted and I spent a non traditional, but awesome, Easter Sunday at Niagara Falls. To say that we witnessed God’s beauty is an understatement. Just an incredible, breath taking experience. We decided to visit this amazing attraction on Easter as we figured the foot traffic would be slow. We were correct 🙂

Niagara Falls is part of the Niagara River between the international borders of New York USA and Ontario, Canada. There are three waterfalls to view, The American Falls, The Horseshoe Falls and Bridal Veil Falls. Collectively, they are knows as Niagara Falls. We stayed on the US side for the day and we were not disappointed. The first site of these falls left me speechless (very hard to do). I actually became a bit emotional knowing we were experiencing such amazing wonder on Easter Sunday.

Ted and I spent the entire day walking from fall to fall to the overlooks via route of beautiful paths.  The encore was to take a boat ride on the Maid of the Mist.  The boat takes you close enough to the falls that you get completely soaked as you feel the spray of the freezing cold water on your face.  We wouldn’t have missed it!
